Jon Favreau Teases The Upcoming Production Of His New Star Wars Live-Action Series

Lucasfilm might have been keeping mum about its upcoming projects while it's been busy working on the production of Star Wars: Episode IX, but it looks like Star Wars fans are soon going to see the start of production for Jon Favreau's live-action Star Wars series.

Now that Star Wars Resistance has its very first trailer, it looks like Lucasfilm's getting ready to work on the Iron Man director's highly anticipated Star Wars show. Posting on Twitter, Favreau just recently shared a picture of himself at the Skywalker Ranch together with Star Wars Rebels and Star Wars: The Clone Wars producer, Dave Filoni.

Check it out down here:

Though Favreau's caption might not say much with its one line saying that he and Filoni are "enjoying a day at the Ranch," the photo suggests that the director is slowly beginning work on his Star Wars project together with members of the TV execs at Lucasfilm. Of course, there might be other reasons why Favreau was paying Skywalker Ranch a visit, however, work on the upcoming Star Wars series sounds like the most likely reason in the books.

Hopefully, we'll get more information as soon as Favreau and his team finally begins work on the upcoming Star Wars live-action series.
