The Mandalorian is returning to Disney+ this week with a brand new season and there's a good chance a lot of you are doing some catching up before Season 3 premieres. Obviously, the first two seasons of the hit Star Wars spinoff show will always be essential viewing but some fail to add The Book of Boba Fett to their watch list.
In case you weren't able to follow the Temuera Morrison-led series which basically serves as Season 2.5 of The Mandalorian, it marked the reuniting of Mando and Baby Yoda after the Force-wielding creature was taken by Luke Skywalker during Season 2's epic finale.
Turns out, Jon Favreau is well aware that not everyone was able to follow the second series in the ever-expanding MandoVerse. Speaking with Empire, the MandoVerse creator acknowledged the fact that some fans might not have seen The Book of Boba Fett which is why Disney+ will have a series of recap videos to fill fans in on what they have missed.
Favreau explains: "For people who didn't see The Book Of Boba Fett, we're gonna have videos that catch people up on it on [Disney+]. And there's plenty of user-generated content [on the internet] helping people get up to speed, which is a tool that I use when I watch a show after it's been off the air for a while. It's not just the show-it's the community that surrounds the show. I learned through my experiences with Marvel how sophisticated the audiences are, and [they] inform one another and are paying close attention."

Speaking of Boba, it remains unclear whether the famed bounty hunter will appear in The Mandalorian Season 3 given how he has his own problems to deal with. But considering Din served as an ally for him in The Book of Boba Fett, it wouldn't be too farfetched to believe that Fett will once again have Mando's back.
All episodes of The Book of Boba Fett are available to stream on Disney+.
