The lawyers of Amber Heard ended their grilling of Johnny Depp at his defamation trial against the Aquaman star, on Monday, by playing an audio recording of heated arguments between the former lovebirds. One audiotape featured the actor telling his ex-ladylove, "shut up, fat a*s," while the actress accused her former husband of having "beat the sh*t out of" her and throwing a "swing" at her.
Johnny Depp has denied ever being physically abusive to Amber Heard. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor even claimed repeatedly at the trial that his ex-wife was the one who was frequently violent.

Testifying before a Virginia court earlier this week, the ex-husband of Amber Heard said he was "ashamed" of the messages and that they were an attempt at humor.
Johnny Depp stated:
"This is a film that we'd all watched when we were 10, and it's just irreverent and abstract humor. That's what we were referring to in those texts."
Though the texts showed Paul Bettany rebuffing the idea, Johnny Depp testified Amber Heard had an "abominable" relationship with the Avengers star.
The Into the Woods actor said:
"Ms. Heard despised Mr. Bettany because mainly we had become such close friends. For her, he was a threat and would take me away from her. If Paul Bettany was getting attention from me, that was a showstopper. It would cause all kinds of unpleasantries."
Paul Bettany has yet to comment on the latest statements of Johnny Depp about his relationship with Amber Heard.
