Johnny Depp is The Batman's Joker in Amazing Fan Art

At this point, it doesn't look like the Joker will be showing up in The Batman. Nevertheless, that hasn't stopped fans from hoping that the Clown Prince of Crime will make an appearance in the highly anticipated Matt Reeves film. But who could portray the Joker opposite Robert Pattinson? A new fan art imagines Johnny Depp as the iconic DC comic book villain and it's a stunning idea.

Digital artist Bosslogic has shared the amazing fan art on their official Instagram account. Make sure to swipe through the post below to see the second image, which is even better than the first one.

"With all the craziness going on the team and I wanted to take our mind off things so we were discussing Joker in the #mattreeves #Batman universe, again we used #johnnydepp with a dramatic look for that timeline," the caption reads. "Love him or hate him I think Depp would do an amazing take on the character."

First of all, there is little doubt that Depp could totally nail the role considering his versatility. Secondly, it would be great to see Depp get a break after all the negativity he had to deal with in his legal woes with ex-wife Amber Heard. On the other hand, Joker might not be a part of The Batman so it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

Production on The Batman has been put on hold for the next two weeks for safety precautions over the Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
