The new trailer for John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum is finally here and it certainly teases so much more action. We finally get to see Keanu Reeves take on Mark Dacascos, who is playing the mysterious assassin named Zero.
The trailer opens with John Wick running with his new dog and facing new assassins. We then meet The High Table's Adjudicator played by Asia Kate Dillon who will stop at nothing to get their hands on John. "Mr. Wick broke the rules," she tells Winston (Ian McShane). "I trust you understand the repercussions if he survives."
We get back to that later. In the meantime, John's first meeting with Sofia (Halle Berry) doesn't go smoothly. She shoots at him then realizes that he's wearing a special suit.
"I need your help," John tells her. "After this, we are less than even," she replies. Something tells me that this partnership is probably going to cost John a little more than he is willing to take.
Sofia and her dogs finally get into action in the trailer and we also see John fighting Zero, who is clearly impressed with his own target. "I've been looking forward to meeting you for a long time," Zero tells John. "And so far, you haven't disappointed." We're certainly hoping to see an epic fight scene between the two this May.
The synopsis for John Wick 3 reads as follows:
"In this third installment of the adrenaline-fueled action franchise, super-assassin John Wick (Keanu Reeves) returns with a $14 million price tag on his head and an army of bounty-hunting killers on his trail. After killing a member of the shadowy international assassin's guild, the High Table, John Wick is excommunicado, but the world's most ruthless hit men and women await his every turn."
John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum hits theaters on May 17.
