The Marvel Cinematic Universe's current slate for the Multiverse Saga is incredibly loaded, but I think we can all agree that one of the projects fans are excited about is the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. However, it doesn't look like Marvel Studios is in a hurry to unveil the film's official cast and over the last couple of months, fans have been kept in the dark regarding key details about the anticipated Phase Six offering.

This week, new rumors about the First Family's MCU debut surfaced as Star Wars actor Adam Driver is said to be the top pick to play Reed Richards in the project. Previously, names like Penn Badgley, Tom Ellis, and Diego Luna have all popped up as potential candidates for the part but Kevin Feige and his team have yet to make things official.

As the hype surrounding Driver's rumored casting intensifies, Instagram artist @clements.ink came up with an astonishing artwork imagining what the Kylo Ren actor would look like as the "Smartest Man Alive". He even kept Driver's signature hair for good measure and while it's a completely different take on Mister Fantastic, I think it works. Check it out here:

Interestingly, Driver is a favorite amongst fans to play Doctor Doom in the franchise and obviously, his stellar performance in the sequel trilogy made him a believable villain. But Adam is more than just a one-trick pony and given the opportunity, I'm pretty sure he'd give fans a fresh yet definitive take on Reed Richards. Hopefully, the next few months will finally bring us the news we've all been waiting to hear.

Marvel Studios' Fantastic Four reboot is slated for theatrical release on February 14, 2025.
