Adam Driver Potential Role In Fantastic Four Revealed

A revamped version of Marvel’s Fantastic Four has yet to hit the screen. Given that the casting is integral to the production of any movie or show and more details about the reboot have yet to be communicated, fans have been on the loop in speculating about which actor is going to play who. Adam Driver, known for his role as Star Wars' Kylo Ren, is reportedly being eyed to play an interesting role in the upcoming Fantastic Four.

With his ability to make every character his own, Driver has been at the center of a campaign to extend his talents from Star Wars to Marvel. Despite the loss of director Jon Watts in April, Fantastic Four found WandaVision's Matt Shakman as a replacement, with Disaster Wedding's Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer writing the script.

Given the promising update that Ant-Man 3 director Peyton Reed relayed in December about the project’s status, fans are hoping that more information about the official cast will be revealed. In a recent video, Beyond the Trailer's Grace Randolph commented that Driver is the frontrunner to play Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic, in the MCU's Fantastic Four reboot.

The role of Mr. Fantastic has been one of the most-discussed roles in the fans’ forum given that he is expected to lead both the team and the blockbuster movie. With the character waiting to be assumed by a new actor, A-list names such as Penn Badgley, Dev Patel, and Diego Luna have been the ones getting tossed around a lot, and Driver has reportedly found its way into the selection.

Insider Jeff Sneider also previously shared that Driver may be in line for the Mr. Fantastic role, or possibly even Doctor Doom. But while he stated that this came from an "unproven" source, he noted that it "smells right to [him]." And now, the aforementioned new rumor has intensified the initial claims.

Former Mr. Fantastic star John Krasinski broke his silence about reprising his role for the reboot. “There aren’t any discussions at all; the only discussion I had was actually in the second-to-last week of ‘Jack Ryan,’” Krasinski revealed to TheWrap. With this, chances are high for Driver to take the place of the world’s genius.
