John Boyega Gets Honest About Obi-Wan Kenobi Series

Obi-Wan Kenobi recently ended its six-episode run to huge success. A lot of fans were delighted to see Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen reprise their respective roles from the prequel as well as the mythology that was added to the overall Star Wars lore. As fans are celebrating the series' run, an alumnus of the franchise has chimed in and shared his thoughts.

Speaking recently with TheWrap during the premiere of Nope, John Boyega, who played Finn in the sequel trilogy, was asked about his thoughts on Obi-Wan Kenobi to which he revealed that he enjoyed watching the series and was also happy to see Christensen return to reprise the role of Anakin Skywalker.

"Of course I’ve watched them! Oh yeah, I watched them first day they came out," Boyega said. "I think it was fun, it was good to see Ewan [McGregor]. It was good to see, you know, our guy Anakin — well, my guy Anakin, MY guy, back. For him to have more nuance and have more story as well, was just, for me, just phenomenal just to see."

We can pretty much say that the sequel trilogy vet has added himself to the millions of fans who liked the series.

So far, it is unknown yet whether Boyega will return to the franchise someday although he has expressed interest in the past to possibly reprise the role of Finn. Either way, it is clear here that he still has a love for the franchise.
