Joe Manganiello Approves Of Ben Affleck's The Batman Screenplay

Ben Affleck might be in a difficult situation right now following his recent return to rehab. However, the Justice League star can rest assured that Joe Manganiello approves of the script he penned for The Batman.

Batffleck recently came under fire when some fans suggested that his screenplay for The Batman doesn't have an actual story. DC Animation director Jay Oliva was quick to defend Affleck on social media, announcing that "the original Affleck script was the best Batman script" he has ever read. Interestingly, Oliva isn't the only one who thinks so as Manganiello reacted to the tweet.

It's great to see that the real Deathstroke is out to support Affleck's screenplay. After all, The Batman is rumored to follow Slade Wilson's numerous attempts to bring the Caped Crusader down for the Legion of Doom. There have even been speculations that Warner Bros. is currently trying to cast the Legion for the film. Unfortunately, we have yet to get any official details about the script.

Manganiello is set to be one of the busiest men in the DC Extended Universe. In addition to a possible role in The Batman, he will portray Slade in a still-untitled Deathstroke movie. Manganiello might also reprise the role in more DCEU films in the future.

The Batman is unlikely to begin production soon since Affleck entered rehab last month. Nevertheless, fans are hoping that he will be ready to start filming later this year or in early 2019. Affleck signed into rehab for alcohol dependency.
