Jirisan is actively dominating the weekend evening time slot. The successful tvN Kdrama stars Jun Ji Hyun and Ju Ji Hoon. Written by Kim Eun Hee, the genius behind the blockbuster zombie period drama, Kingdom and Kingdom: Ashin of the North, Jirisan is one of tvN’s 15th-anniversary special projects.
Jirisan Episode 10 received an average nationwide viewership rating of 8.3%. The series still remains on top among dramas airing at the same timeslot. Here is what happened in Jirisan Episode 10 and what viewers can expect in Episode 11.
Jirisan Episode 10 Recap
Jirisan Episode 10 was a major flashback to what really happened at the Black Bridge Valley. The series goes back to 1991 during Jo Dae Jin’s early years as a park ranger.
Jo Dae Jin and the other rangers were guiding the cable car company representative through the Black Bridge Valley. The representative was negotiating with the villagers but they were firm with their decision to not leave the area.
The horrors then started when the representative warned them that they will regret their decision. Specifically, the town mayor’s wife was found lifeless in the middle of the forest while on her way to get water. The villagers got scared and immediately evacuated the village, leaving the town mayor and his son.
On the other hand, back in 2019, the rangers were entering the mountain to investigate a case of an illegal hiker who claims to have seen ghost lights chasing him. Yi Gang and Hyun Jo were already on their way to the Black Bridge Valley when they got lost.

The two kept on circling at the same spot until they found themselves cornered by ghost lights, which Yi Gang confirmed were moon bears. While they were hiding in a cave, Hyun Jo found a woman entrapped with them but was in a critical state.
Yi Gang and Hyun Jo tried to bring the woman with them to go back down the mountain but they were lost. Fortunately, Gu Yeong and Il Hae arrived at the rescue but it turns out that both of them also can’t find their way out of the forest.
Thankfully, Gu Yeong’s radio was working. Dae Jin helped them get out of the area and advised them to follow the human trail and not the animal train as they will only end up going in circles. They successfully got back to the foot of the mountain just in time to save the woman.
Meanwhile, Hyun Jo goes back to the Black Bridge Valley to find something. He sees a senior ranger, who turns out to be the town mayor’s son, Kim Sol.
When Kim Sol was about to leave the cave, it seems that he was wearing black gloves similar to the serial killer who has been murdering people in the mountain. Jirisan Episode 11 then ends with Hyun Jo seeing another sight that may have a connection to the town mayor’s son.

Jirisan Episode 11 is scheduled to be released on Saturday, November 27, 2021. tvN’s 15th-anniversary special project airs new episodes every Saturday and Sunday.
