Jirisan is continuously proving itself as a successful tvN Kdrama that stars Jun Ji Hyun and Ju Ji Hoon. Written by Kim Eun Hee, the genius behind the blockbuster zombie period drama, Kingdom and Kingdom: Ashin of the North, Jirisan is one of tvN’s 15th-anniversary special projects.
Jirisan Episode 9 received an average nationwide viewership rating of 7.8%. Although a slight downfall, the series still took first place in the evening timeslot.

Jirisan Episode 9 sees Lee Da Won seeing the mysterious ranger face to face. Down at the foot of the mountain, Yi Gang was waiting for Da Won to come back but she only sees Gu Yeong.
After a few moments, they decided to have a search for Da Won as she was not answering her calls. While some teams were looking for her in the mountain, they found her phone with drops of blood on it.
The police immediately recovered the files on her phone and found a recent recording. It turns out that the person following her was the commander of the rangers, Dae Jin.
A few more hours passed and they were still looking for her. Yi Gang suddenly gets an idea on how they can find Da Won.
The search party came to where Yi Gang told them to go and they find the lifeless body of Da Won under the rocks. Yi Gang blamed herself for asking Da Won to go in the mountain but her anger immediately went towards Dae Jin whom she started to accuse.
Meanwhile, Yi Gang was visited by an illegal hiker who claimed he saw the ghost in the mountain again and asked him to relay a message to her.
