Jiho officially bid goodbye to Oh My Girl and their fandom, Miracle, after seven years of promotion.

Oh My Girl recently surprised their fans with a pre-7th anniversary gift by releasing their second full-length album, Real Love. They dropped the music video for the title track of the same name with the hopes of having the first place on a music show.

However, the girl group has to continue working hard to get that milestone without Jiho.

Jiho Leaves Oh My Girl

After Oh My Girl’s 7th anniversary, Jiho penned a letter to fans addressing her departure from the girl group. It came after WM Entertainment confirmed that the idol was leaving the agency and her team.

Per Jiho, she would continue to support Oh My Girl – but as a Miracle (their fandom).

“I’m writing this letter as there’s news I have to share with Miracle. I spoke numerous times with our agency about the future, and we concluded that moving forward, we would support each other’s paths. In the future, I will be supporting Oh My Girl’s promotions as a member of Miracle and not as a member of Oh My Girl,” she said.

She also left an emotional message, saying she would never forget the love and support the fans have given to her and the group in the past seven years.

It remains unknown whether she would continue her career as a soloist or as a member of a different industry.

Oh My Girl To Continue With the Remaining 6 Members

Although Jiho is no longer with them, WM Entertainment assured fans that it would still support the girls.

The remaining six members – Hyojung, Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Yoo Bin, and Arin – renewed their exclusive contracts with them. It also said that it would respect Jiho’s decision to try pursuing her new dream.

“The six members will continue to promote together as Oh My Girl. Along with a new start, they will continue to impress further, so please continue to send them lots of encouragement and support,” the statement went on.

Oh My Girl started conquering the music scene in 2015 with their mini-album, Oh My Girl. They have since released hit songs like Dun Dun Dance, Closer, Secret Garden, and Dolphin, to name a few.
