Jessica Jones Actress Krysten Ritter Comments on Possible MCU Return

It's been more than two years since the last season of Jessica Jones aired on Netflix and fans have been wondering if they will ever see the character again in the MCU. There are still no confirmed plans for Jessica Jones to show up in any MCU projects in the future, but that doesn't stop anyone from hoping for her to eventually return to the screen.

In a recent interview with Screen Rant, Jessica Jones actress Krysten Ritter was asked about her possible return as the character on the MCU. She didn't say if anything is in the works, but she is, however, open to the possibility.

"I would absolutely just die to play Jessica again," Ritter said. "I had the best time doing it and I just love her so much. I'm so proud of that character. Not only because it was like a great role and she's such a bad-ass, but that character has really resonated with people in a way that I don't know who else has. Really, really resonated with women and girls, trauma survivors. It's just so, so big and such a thing I'm so grateful to have been a part of. So if there's ever an opportunity for me to put on those boots, I will be there in a flash."

It is great to hear that Ritter is open to playing the character again as she was wonderful on the role. The question however is how she will be integrated into the MCU projects if she'll ever appear? Will it be a continuation of her solo series or she will be a supporting character to another hero? There's a lot of possibilities that can happen. But once she shows up, fans will surely be delighted.

Up to this point, none of the characters from the Netflix Marvel series have made an appearance on the main MCU projects. There are rumors however that Charlie Cox might return as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in Spider-Man: No Way Home although that hasn't been confirmed yet and Cox himself has been coy about it.
