Jessica Chastain is All Bloody in Set Photo from IT: Chapter 2

It had recently come out that Jessica Chastain had already wrapped her role in IT: Chapter 2 nearly two months after filming, and now director Andy Muschietti is announcing her wrap with a photo of Chastain covered in fake blood.

We don't know exactly what the blood on Chastain entails, but it's possible that Pennywise will try to address Bev's fears from the first film as well. When Bev was tormented in the first movie, she (along with her bathroom) was completely drenched in blood.

The IT reboot has come out to be one of the most successful horror films of all time, and a huge part of the appeal was the fantastic child cast that was gathered for the movie. The children will be all grown up for the sequel, but seeing that Muschietti took some great liberties on his own, this second chapter may turn out more interesting than the original cult version.

Besides Chastain, the cast also includes James McAvoy (Bill), Bill Hader (Richie), Isaiah Mustafa (Mike), James Ransone (Eddie), Jay Ryan (Ben), and Andy Bean (Stanley). Not to mention Bill Skarsgard is also making his comeback as Pennywise the Clown.

IT: Chapter 2 is set to come out Sept. 6, 2019.
