Pennywise Returns In New It: Chapter 2 Set Photo

Pennywise is back and he's wreaking havoc in the town of Port Hope as a terrifying scene from Stephen King's novel is somehow brought to life. A new photo from the set of It: Chapter 2 features the Dancing Clown with the Giant.

According to Northumberland News, the giant statue of Paul Bunyan was erected at the Port Home Memorial Park last week. However, it was only recently that the crew from Chapter 2 started using it to film scenes with Skarsgard's villainous clown. Check out the picture below.

Fans of the book already know that the Paul Bunyan statue is part of an iconic scene where the adult Richie Tozier encounters Pennywise. If the scene being shot involves Richie, it could be a huge deviation from what happened in the novel. Nevertheless, it's still horrifying to see the clown and the Giant together when you remember what almost happened to Richie in the scene.

Skarsgard might be the only cast member who is still hard at work. Jessica Chastain has previously announced that she has wrapped filming on Chapter 2. The Dark Phoenix actress will portray the adult Beverly Marsh in the sequel.

Chapter 2 also stars James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Jay Ryan, Isaiah Mustafa, Andy Bean, James Ransone as the rest of the adult Losers Club. Teach Grant will play Henry Bowers while Jess Weixler has been cast as Audra, Bill Denborough's wife. The sequel will be directed by Andy Muschietti, who also helmed the first film.

It: Chapter 2 is scheduled for release on September 6, 2019.
