Jeremy Renner’s Post Teases Hawkeye In Avengers: Infinity War

Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye might have been absent from all of Marvel's marketing material for Avengers: Infinity War, but that doesn't meant that the Avenger's sharpshooter's going to keep to the benches while his comrades fight for their lives.

Taking to Instagram, Renner decided to post a little tease for Hawkeye, reminding Marvel fans that Clint Barton's still going to join the battle against the Mad Titan Thanos and the Black Order in Avengers: Infinity War.

"Infinity - a number greater than any assignable quantity or countable number. Sometimes." Renner wrote, adding in the hashtags #infinitywar #avengers #hawkeye #originalsix #unitedwestand.

There's been a lot of anxiety surrounding Hawkeye's absence from the film's promotional material. The Avengers have a lot to lose fighting against Thanos, and fans have been worrying that Hawkeye might be one of the casualties of the battle. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo have been candid about the possibility of character death, and some have taken Barton's absence from Infinity War's promotional material as a sign that the Avengers might lose Hawkeye in Infinity War.

That, or Barton might take on another alter ego, say perhaps, Ronin?

Let's just wait and see.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27, 2018.
