Jeremy Renner Fans Relieved Leg Amputation Rumors Have Seemingly Been Put to Rest

Jeremy Renner welcomed 2023 in the most unpleasant and unfortunate way possible after being involved in a horrific snowplowing accident on New Year's Day that left him with multiple injuries. These days, it looks like the Marvel Cinematic Universe actor is finally on the mend, and on his latest social media update, Jeremy revealed the extent of the injuries he sustained.

Last week, rumors began circulating all over social media that Renner's leg injuries were far worse than initially expected and that he might undergo another major surgery one of these days to have one of his legs amputated.

Naturally, fans grew increasingly concerned over Renner's true condition but it looks like there's zero truth to the malicious reports. Well, at least according to the actor's latest health update.

On Twitter, the Mayor of Kingstown star took the time to extend his gratitude to everyone who sent out their thoughts and prayers for him during the worst days of his life. He would then reveal that apart from the blunt chest trauma he suffered, he also broke over 30 bones due to the accident.

The image Renner posted pretty much debunks the reports about his leg possibly being removed. It appears that his legs are actually fine and judging by the post, he's already in therapy mode which gave his fans a great deal of relief. Check out some of the reactions below:

As it stands, we still don't know the timeframe for Renner's recovery but some reports are saying it might take up to two years before he could get cleared to return to acting. Our thoughts and prayers are still with Renner and his family.
