Jennifer Lopez recently opened up about her relationship with Ben Affleck, and she had nothing but wonderful things to say about her boyfriend. The Marry Me actress also revealed that she and Affleck learned a thing a two about what they should share with the press now that they are back together.
During one of Lopez’s recent interviews, it was revealed that Affleck checked in on her. This is, perhaps, one of the reasons why a rumor about the happy couple has been circulating online.
Ben Affleck A Supportive Boyfriend To Jennifer Lopez
National Enquirer, in its Feb. 21 issue, claimed that Lopez saw how supportive Affleck is of everything that she’s doing that’s why she came up with the idea of hiring him as her new manager.
“Ben is actually perfect for this, more than any other man she’s been with. He loves strategy and backroom business dealings as well as grappling with the big picture of a movie career,” an unnamed source said.
Ben Affleck Can Help Free Up Jennifer Lopez’s Schedule
The insider added that Lopez has a lot of things on her plate. Even if she’s already 52 years old, she’s still in demand in Hollywood.
“Jennifer’s responsibilities have only grown in the years since she and Ben were first a couple, so she’s glad to have the support. Ben’s organizing her workload, suggesting things for her to do, and keeping her motivated. When she needs advice, he’s there to give it. He’s soft-spoken and thoughtful but never pushy. She totally trusts his instincts,” the unnamed source explained.
Ben Affleck Wants Jennifer Lopez To Continue Being An All-Around Performer
The unnamed source added that it was Affleck that encouraged Lopez to combine her singing with her acting skills that’s why the mom of twin allegedly decided to record songs for her new movie, Marry Me.
“It’s great if the movies are a hit that people love, but there’s this much bigger upside if her theme song is a smash, like Lady Gaga’s ‘Shallow’ for A Star Is Born. Jennifer hasn’t done this much before, but Ben is encouraging her to focus on it every time she brings out one of these rom-coms, which is twice a year if she keeps her pace up,” the unnamed source said.
Affleck reportedly thinks that Lopez is a great actress so he wants his girlfriend to be given more serious projects.
“Ben would love to coax an Oscar-winning performance out of her. He has seen some incredible windfalls over the ten years since Argo and he’s doing his best to steer Jennifer in the same direction. She wants it, too, and realizes that Ben has the brains to make it happen. Ben knows he screwed up with Jennifer the first time around, and he’s trying to make up for it now. But he’s a proud, macho guy, and I’d guess at some point he’s going to stop taking orders and that will cause real problems,” the unnamed source concluded.
However, fans of Lopez and Affleck have nothing to worry about. After all, the Batman v Superman star can’t serve as a manager for Lopez. Affleck also has a lot of things on his plate just like his girlfriend.

Ben Affleck Dubbed As A Dutiful Boyfriend To Jennifer Lopez
During her interview with The New York Times, Affleck was dubbed as a “dutiful boyfriend” because he popped up while Lopez was having a conversation with the magazine staff.
It’s unclear if Lopez knew that Affleck would say hello to her during the interview, but it gave the public the impression that the dad of three is a very supportive boyfriend.
When asked what was Lopez’s greatest lesson when it comes to relationships and being with Affleck, she said that they realized that it’s important to keep things sacred at times.
“You have to do what feels good to you all the time. But at the same time, you learn from the past, you do things better the second time. There’s a part of it that, yes, we’re together. But there’s a part of it that’s not, you know, being so open the way we were when we were so young and in love many years ago,” she said.
