Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got back together early last year, and their relationship seems to be doing well.
In fact, during a recent interview, Lopez shared details about her reunion with Affleck and said that they know better now that they are older. Years ago, the couple got engaged, but they decided to call things off before Lopez could even walk down the aisle. One of the reasons for their split had to do with the negative media coverage that they received.
But after almost two decades, Jennifer Lopez and Affleck surprised their fans when they decided to get back together. Now, there are rumors suggesting that the couple will soon tie the knot.
Jennifer Lopez Takes Control Of Wedding Planning
OK! magazine, in its Feb. 14 issue, claimed that Lopez wants to be in charge of everything pertaining to their nuptials, Affleck doesn’t seem to mind.
“Ben is letting her plan the wedding, every detail. She’s even controlling how and when they announce it. Ben has relinquished a ton of control to Jennifer. He’s normally such an alpha, so letting Jen take the reins is a welcome break,” an unnamed source said.

Lopez has also, allegedly, inspired Affleck to take better care of himself. This is the reason why the Batman v Superman actor has been on his best behavior in the past couple of months. He also seems to be doing well when it comes to his sobriety.
The Marry Me actress, on the other hand, is also thriving since she got back together with Affleck.
“She was so passive with Ben the first time they were together. This time, things are different. The power shift from Ben to Jen is something you can’t miss. It seems to be why things are working better this time around,” the unnamed source said.
However, Lopez and Affleck have no plans to tie the knot anytime soon. The couple hasn’t also dropped any hints that can lead the different publications to assume that they are headed for the altar.

Last week, Lopez spoke with People about her relationship with Affleck, and there’s no denying that the couple is content with each other.
“I feel so lucky and happy and proud to be with him. It’s a beautiful love story that we got a second chance,” she said.
Lopez also said that she and Affleck don’t want to make the same mistakes that they did in the past. So, they are more careful when it comes to what they’ll say about each other during their interviews.
“We both were like, 'Wow, we're so happy and we don't want any of that to come into play again.' We're older now, we're smarter, we have more experience, we're at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things. We're so protective because it is such a beautiful time for all of us. I just feel very happy and lucky to be in a relationship that's happy and loving, and I want to do everything I can to protect that and keep it safe. It deserves that, it really does. We hold it sacred,” Lopez said.

During her interview with the New York Times, Lopez also shared the biggest lesson that she and Affleck learned during the first time that they were together.
“I would say we learned our lesson the first time. To hold it sacred. You have to do what feels good to you all the time. But at the same time, you learn from the past, you do things better the second time. There’s a part of it that, yes, we’re together. But there’s a part of it that’s not, you know, being so open the way we were when we were so young and in love many years ago,” Lopez said.
