James McAvoy Hints Involvement in New X-Men Project

With Logan arriving in theaters soon, Patrick Stewart's role as Professor Xavier has been getting more buzz recently, but the younger actor who played the role may soon take the spotlight as he just took it to Instagram to drop some hints about his future X-Men projects.

The 37-year-old actor shared a photo taken by Simon David Kinberg, known for being an X-Men producer. McAvoy ate dinner with the creator, and Kinberg's split photo shows him drinking with Stewart at another place.

"Dinner last night with the man who's in a multi generational three way relationship with two professors.thanks for dinner @simondavidkinberg and @hutch.parker ,I can't wait for the summer," McAvoy wrote with the image.

His excitement for the summer suggests that he could be involved in one of the X-Men films heading into production at that period, but fans are still not sure which X-Men project McAvoy may be referring to. Last May, Kinberg told Collider that McAvoy would be part of the upcoming film: "Right now, as the movie exists, Professor X would be a part of a New Mutants movie," so that's most likely the project McAvoy may be referring to.
