While the two projects aren't going head-to-head against each other this Summer, fans are still obviously picking which film to root for. But what if we told you that there's no point to compare both films and that there's an unexpected connection between them? It turns out that The Flash and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 share the same Director of Photography as revealed by James Gunn on Twitter.

Responding to a fan who praised GOTG 3's stunning cinematography, the MCU director and DC Studios boss gave major props to Henry Braham and revealed that he was also responsible for The Flash's cinematic execution.

It remains unclear though if Braham has always been attached to the latter or if he was hired while the film was undergoing reshoots under the new DCU regime but hey, it's still amazing that he worked on both projects. Gunn wrote: "Fun fact: The same Director of Photography, Henry Braham, shot both #GotGVol3 & #TheFlashMovie".

Gunn certainly has a lot on his plate this year but he has always been the type of guy who is up for a challenge. He already cemented his legacy over at the MCU and we're hoping he'll be able to take the DCU to new heights.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is hitting cinemas on May 5. Meanwhile, The Flash is currently slated for release on June 16.
