After announcing their engagement earlier this year, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn and Peacemaker star Jennifer Holland moved to the next step of their relationship as they announced on social media that they finally tied the knot last weekend after seven years of being in a relationship.
"After over 7 years together, I finally married the love of my life, @jenniferlholland. What an incredible, beautiful, stunning day surrounded by the most wonderful family and friends in the world," Gunn wrote in his caption announcing their marriage.
"And, yes, that’s a moose that showed up as the ceremony began! And also, yes, @originalfunko made our wedding cake toppers designed on our actual tux and gown (Jenn wouldn’t let me see them before the wedding because her dress was too perfectly done!) And, yes, we had Sunday fun festivities including a Marvel vs DC softball game (@michael_rooker played on both teams!)"
In another post, Gunn revealed that the stars of Guardians of the Galaxy, The Suicide Squad, and Peacemaker were also in attendance at their wedding through a series of group photos that they took with them, making the wedding a large gathering between the Marvel and DC actors.
Gunn and Holland began their relationship back in 2015 before they officially got engaged earlier this year. They worked together in both The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker where Gunn served as the director while Holland is part of the cast playing the role of Emilia Harcourt. The actress was also part of the Gunn-produced movie Brightburn.

Gunn's next film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is slated for release in theaters on May 5, 2023 while The Suicide Squad and the first season of Peacemaker are available to stream on HBO Max.
