James Gunn Debunks Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 Cast List from Google

We already know who is going to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, thanks to James Gunn who shared a photo of the cast. However, a quick Google search reveals that there are more, previously-unannounced actors who are believed to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel. Now Gunn has decided to debunk the cast list along with a confirmation of who will be in his movie.

Gunn took to Twitter to share a screenshot of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 cast list according to Google. Interestingly, it reveals that IMDb lists Chris Hemsworth as well as The Suicide Squad actors Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, and Idris Elba. In addition to that, Seth Green is expected to return as Howard the Duck. The bizarre addition is The Babysitter star King Bach.

So are all these people going to be in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3? Gunn confirmed the cast member who will appear in the MCU sequel.

We would love to see all these stars in the upcoming MCU flick but it looks like Will Poulter is the only one confirmed to appear in the film, at least for now. But how did all these people end up on Google's list in the first place? There's a possibility that the Suicide Squad actors were added because of their previous work with Gunn. However, it's a mystery how Bach is in there.

Will Poulter was previously confirmed to play Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Soon after the announcement, Gunn shared an image of the original cast along with Poulter to confirm that production has started.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will also star Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, and Sylvester Stallone. The sequel will hit theaters on May 5, 2023.
