Hawkeye Star Fra Fee Wanted to Join Rogers The Musical

We're loving everything about Hawkeye right now, from Clint Barton's return to the show's awesome musical that focuses on Captain Steve Rogers. So it's no surprise that even Fra Fee is impressed with Rogers the Musical. In fact, the Kazi actor liked it so much that he begged producers to let him be a part of the musical.

Fans already knew about Rogers the Musical even before Hawkeye premiered last month. There was a glimpse at the musical featured in the show's trailer and it certainly looked like a fun sequence. Not surprisingly, Fra Fee loved everything about Rogers the Musical and decided that he had to be a part of it despite playing a major role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series.

"I begged them to let me be involved in Rogers: The Musical," Fee admitted to The Hollywood Reporter. "I was like, 'Just let me start at the back, stick an alien costume on me and I'll sing the tenor line.' I was desperate."

Fee also pointed out that he was envious of the actors who got to perform in the musical. "Yes, of course, I was extremely jealous of everyone who got to be involved. When I read it in the script, I was like, 'This is genius,'" he said. "I loved it."

But what are the chances that Fee could live his dream of being a part of Rogers The Musical? "Who knows? Maybe I'll do the actual musical when it reaches Broadway," he said.

At this point, we're not sure if Rogers The Musical will eventually make it to Broadway. In the meantime, we can watch Fee in action in the last two episodes of Hawkeye.

Fra Fee returns as Kazi in Hawkeye Episode 5 which will premiere on Disney+ on December 15, 2021.
