IU is having the best moments this year, thanks to her fans.
In January, IU received a New Year gift after winning the Digital Daesang Song of the Year award at the 35th Golden Disc Awards with her hit song, Blueming. During her acceptance speech, she hinted at the arrival of her new single Celebrity before ultimately doing a pre-release before that month ended.
She went on to release Lilac and Strawberry Moon in March and October, respectively. The fifth album and digital single both earned a critical response from different organizations. Lilac, in fact, debuted on the top spot of the Gaon Album Chart before its remaining songs all joined the Gaon Digital Chart top 30.
A few days before this year ends, IU teased her fans again with a new project this month.

IU To Return With New Project Pieces
On her official Twitter page, IU shared an artwork teaser of her Pieces project.
The same photo revealed that the singer would drop it on December 29, causing fans to feel overwhelmed by her continuous gift for all of them after years of not seeing them through concerts.
While she did not reveal more details about it, IU left hints with the artwork since it features a drawing of all her past albums stacked on top of one another. A clock that strikes at 8:00 stands atop the albums.

But if it is another love song, UAENAs might spark dating rumors again like what they theorized when the singer released Strawberry Moon. According to fans, the singer has been singing about falling and staying in love in her recent releases, quickly causing them to assume that their idol probably has someone special in her life already.
IU is Working Non-Stop
With IU’s growing popularity, more brands and endorsements started contacting her for a collaboration.
Most recently, starshipTV revealed that Pepsi and the singer will work on a special project in 2022. Pepsi shared the same video, which shows IU’s charms – as usual – while delivering a message of hope.
Previously, Pepsi dropped a collaboration track, Summer Taste which Rain, ATEEZ, Monsta X, and Brave Girls created. Its new plans with IU will surely release more content for fans soon.
