ITZY Yuna recently became the center of dating rumors.
It has been a rule for a long time that K-pop idols are not allowed to date anyone as long as they are tied to an entertainment agency. Most companies impose such rules and restrict them as much as possible.
As for why the agencies need to prevent their talents from dating, some former idols have since explained that those companies believe that being in a relationship would distract them from their goal. The idols themselves eventually follow the rule due to their fears of losing their fanbase.
Their contracts play a huge role in their dating lives as most agreements contain a dating ban clause.
Most recently, ITZY member Yuna has been bombarded with dating rumors due to her social media posts, but the K-idol herself quickly set the record straight.

ITZY Yuna Reveals Whether She is Dating or Not
The rumblings began when photos of Yuna at Gordon Ramsay Burgers in South Korea were reposted in an online community. In the snaps, it can be seen that she ordered a milkshake along with two chicken burgers.
Fans assumed that Yuna was with ENHYPEN’s Jay since the K-pop boy group member also uploaded photos of the same burger a day after Yuna shared her snaps. He also ordered the same drink she had. With that, people in the online community quickly assumed that they are dating.

However, soon after the post went viral, Yuna stepped up and dismissed the claims through Dear. U Bubble. According to the DALLA DALLA hitmaker, she actually went to the restaurant with her friend of 11 years.
“I went with my friend of 11 years that I’ve known since elementary school, as a congratulatory event for her getting into college,” she said.
Yuna then shared a photo of her friend posing in the background to support her explanation.
ITZY Yuna Makes Fans Feel Grateful
Before dismissing the rumors, Yuna caught fans’ attention for a different reason.
This year, JYP Entertainment debuted the new girl group, NMIXX. Fans began discussing that Yuna might have been considered debuting with the new idol group rather than ITZY due to her close age with NMIXX’s members.
But despite Yuna being the youngest ITZY member, her supporters expressed how thankful they are that she debuted with her current group since she fits their concept.
Indeed, Yuna completed the group as their maknae or youngest member.
