One of the first official images the world ever saw from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was the awesome wrap photo shared by director J.J. Abrams. However, the picture revealed so much more about the cast than we thought. Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, and John Boyega spoke about the iconic pic and what it truly meant for everyone working on Episode IX.
The cast recently spoke to Yahoo about Abrams' photo and Ridley claims it wasn't even taken on their last day of work.
Although it wasn't the last day of filming, Isaac confirmed that they were pretty close to wrapping when the picture was taken.
Interestingly, Boyega says the photo captures the cast doing something they felt they had to do because they were working on the last movie in the new trilogy.
It's certainly awesome to see how much the cast has bonded in the past few years. Needless to say, that bond could prove to be one of the best things to look forward to in Episode IX.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will premiere on December 20.
