IT Movie's Rotten Tomato Score is Here

Andres Muschietti's film adaptation of Stephen King's classic novel IT will be released in theaters this week, so if you're looking for a new film that's worth watching, IT is the right choice because according to movie review aggregate Rotten Tomatoes, the film is damn good. At the time of this writing, the film has a score of 89% Fresh. That's much better than The Dark Tower, another title based on Stephen King's books, which only got 16%.

Its critical consensus on the site reads:

Well-acted and fiendishly frightening with an emotionally affecting story at its core, It amplifies the horror in Stephen King's classic story without losing touch with its heart.

The horror blockbuster is expected to make around $60-70 million this weekend. With the stellar reviews, it's likely that they will make a sequel for it. I'm definitely going to watch this movie with my girlfriend this weekend. I'll tell her not to cover her eyes.

IT stars Bill Skarsgard as Pennwise the Clown, Jaeden Lieberher, Nicholas Hamilton, Finn Wolfhard, Owen Teague, Steven Williams, Megan Charpentier, Sophia Lillis, Wyatt Oleff, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Stephen Bogaert, Ari Cohen, Jack Grazer, Chosen Jacobs and Javier Botet.
