Who Is Yumeko Suzukiri? A Key Character in Go Go Loser Ranger
Go Go Loser Ranger is a new anime by Yostar Pictures, and it is based on a manga by Negi Haruba, the creator of The Quintessential Quintuplets.
Haruba's new series is an unexpected one, as many fans expected his next work to be another romantic comedy series.
The series is set in a world where a group of rangers called the Dragon Keepers protect Earth from evil invaders from space.
It turns out that these invaders were defeated 13 years ago, and the remaining footsoldiers have been forced to reenact their defeat in the years that followed.
One of the soldiers named Footsoldier D has grown tired of the charade, though he was quickly brought down by the Red Keeper.
Thus, Footsoldier D decides to infiltrate the Rangers' ranks to destroy them from within. As shown in the first episode of the anime, he was recruited by Yumeko Suzukiri of the Yellow Battalion.
Even though she seems like an upstanding Ranger, Yumeko soon helps Footsoldier D in his quest against the Rangers. This is because Yumeko has a grudge against the Dragon Keepers.

Yumeko’s Current Status in the Manga, Explained
In the earlier parts of the manga, Yumeko has supported Footsoldier D by giving him useful info, though she hasn’t revealed to him why she’s helping out.
As for her current status in the manga, Yumeko is missing in action after the events in the Invader Rights Association HQ. Previously, she served as a Junior First Class-ranked Ranger in the Yellow Battalion.
Is Yumeko Suzukiri Evil in Go Go Loser Ranger? What We Know So Far
Yumeko Suzukiri has a grudge against the Dragon Keepers as a member of the Suzukiri Clan. She’s not the only one against the keepers, as Hibiki Sakurama is also opposed to them.
While Hibiki’s goal is altruistic in that he wants peace between Invaders and humans, Yumeko’s goal doesn’t seem as noble, given that her grudge is more personal.
In the manga currently, the extent of Yumeko’s goal and backstory has not been revealed yet. Thus, it’s tough to say for certain if her goal is good or evil.
