Villainess Level 99 Features an Overpowered Main Character
Villainess Level 99 features Yumiella Dolkness as its main protagonist. Yumiella is originally a minor villainess who turned into a final hidden boss in the otome game, Light Magic and the Hero (LMH).
She bullies the game’s main character, Alicia Ehnleit, and conflicts with the three conquerable characters.
In a sudden turn of events, the main character of Villainess Level 99 suddenly finds herself in Yumiella’s shoes!
Back in the real world, she was only an introverted college student and an otaku gamer who knew every nook and cranny of the LMH game.
Luckily, the new Yumiella has memories of her time playing the LMH game. She knows what her fate will be in the end, so it’s up to her to not outlive the story and change it in her favor.
Thus, Yumiella begins her new life inside the otome game to avoid Alicia and the three conquerable characters, in addition to taking down the Demon Lord.
However, Yumiella can’t help but give in to her gamer instincts, so she starts raiding dungeons like a mad woman to increase her level.
Before Yumiella realized it, she had already reached level 99, the highest in the kingdom!
Is the Villainess Level 99 Manga Over? Current Status Explained
The Villainess Level 99 manga is still ongoing, with no signs of ending anytime soon. This means fans of both the anime and the light novel series can relax.
So far, the Villainess Level 99 manga has had three volumes since it began serialization on February 5, 2020.
The English publisher, One Peace Books, acquired the distribution rights for the manga series for international regions.
The fourth volume of the Villainess Level 99 manga will arrive in Japan on March 1, 2024. There’s no word about the English release of the manga’s third volume at the moment.
