Who Is Yumiella in Villainess Level 99?
Originally, Yumiella Dolkness was the villainess who used dark magic to bully the heroine Alicia in the Light Magic and the Hero dating game.
She is the eldest daughter of Count Dolkness, who was sent to the Royal Academy to study magic.
Yumiella is characterized by his black hair, which is seen as unlucky and even as a symbol of evil, thanks to the demon lord, who also donned the same hair color in the game.
When she was young, her servants kept her at arms’ length, and no one dared to befriend her for fear that she was a demon lord incarnate.
For the most part, she is the embodiment of unfairness in the dating game, but she still gets defeated in the end thanks to the combined efforts of the heroine and her love interests.
However, everything changed when an avid gamer took on Yumiella’s identity after dying in the real world, thanks to Truck-kun. Yes, she was hit by a truck, and then isekai'd inside the game.
At the age of five, Yumiella regained her memories from her previous life. She recalled the game’s premise and realized that she would cease to exist at the end of it.
So, what better way to avoid her death than to not get involved with the heroine and the three conquerable characters in the game?
Even so, Yumiella understood that she had the potential to surpass the final boss of the game and that she was stronger than anyone in the heroine’s party. She can use dark magic, which only enemy characters can use!
Before applying to the Royal Academy, Yumiella raised her level as much as she could by conquering dungeons and acquiring magic items to become strong enough to beat the Demon Lord herself if it came to that.

So, Is Yumiella Good or Evil in Villainess Level 99?
While the original Yumiella is evil in Villainess Level 99, the new Yumiella would rather lay low and enjoy a peaceful school life away from the heroine and the other three conquerable characters.
She would rather have nothing to do with them to avoid the risk of becoming the hidden final boss. In other words, the new Yumiella is not evil at all in Villainess Level 99.
Instead of living out the original story of the dating game, she would rather focus on doing other stuff that doesn’t involve the heroine’s party.
In fact, Yumiella has no interest in the dating aspect of the game and has no emotional attachment to the characters.
Yumiella even got absorbed in raising her level to the extent that she reached level 99 by the time the Royal Academy conducted everyone’s magic assessment.
