Is There Romance in Parasyte: The Grey?
Parasyte: The Grey is a K-Drama adapted from the Japanese manga series Parasyte by Hitoshi Iwaaki. Although the two share the same universe, their stories are different from each other.
Parasyte: The Grey follows the story of a grocery store cashier who gets attacked by a man as she leaves her workplace.
Her condition is helped by a parasite who tries to enter her mind. But because of her wounded body, the parasite decided to heal her wounds instead.
As a result, the parasite did not have enough time to control Jeong Su-In's (played by Jeon So-Nee) brain. This is why she is a half-mutant that members of her kin consider a threat.
Along the way, she meets Seol Kang-Woo (played by Koo Kyo-Hwan), who is looking for his sister. Through their circumstances, they end up helping each other.
This makes some fans wonder if there is romance between Su-In and Kang-Woo in Parasyte: The Grey. The short answer is, no. The two do not develop a romantic relationship in Parasyte: The Grey.
But there's potential for their relationship to blossom if the show gets a second season.

How Does the K-Drama End for the Main Characters?
The K-Drama ends on a positive note for the characters as they were able to get rid of the villain in the show. Although Su-In doesn't get rid of Heidi, she manages to maintain a symbiotic relationship with the parasite.
When the show ended, Su-In seems to have returned to normalcy. Kang-Woo visits her one day and updates her that he has become part of Team Grey. He tells her that she is welcome to join the special task force too.
Before he leaves, Kang-Woo hands Su-In a letter that Heidi wrote for her. The parasite tells Su-In that she will never be alone again. The rest of the letter is not revealed.
If a second season gets confirmed, we're hoping that Su-In and Kang-Woo develop feelings for one another since they seem to be destined to help each other during this apocalyptic event.
