Over the years, the viewers watched Din Djarin as he makes his own name in his series but with The Mandalorian Season 3 seemingly shifting its focus, is the show setting up his replacement already? While it is a progress, some are having second thoughts on the matter.

Is The Mandalorian Season 3 Setting Up Din Djarin's Replacement?
For the first two seasons of The Mandalorian, the series followed Din Djarin and his adventures.
Pedro Pascal has been in the center of all of it but with The Mandalorian Season 3 seemingly shifting its focus on Katee Sackhoff's Bo-Katan Kryze, it looks like the series sets her up as Din's replacement.
Throughout The Mandalorian Season 3, the series saw Bo-Katan see the Mythosaur while Din almost drowned, and as the Armorer puts it, the reappearance of the Mythosaur is an omen for Bo-Katan being the chosen one to bring all of Mandalore united once more.
Bo-Katan had a long way to get to where she is right now and she is a great character.
In fact, it seems that The Mandalorian Season 3 is setting her up to be the Mand'alor, the leader of all the Mandalorian people. Where does Din stand in this? Well, on the sidelines, apparently.

However, some fans are not loving it that Din is getting sidetracked in his series.
Well, to start, the title of the series is The Mandalorian, not the Din Djarin show, but some fans are not loving this decision on the character of Pedro Pascal. Here are some of their reactions online:
Other than the reaction of the fans, it seems that Pedro Pascal, himself, is not loving the direction of The Mandalorian Season 3 with rumors about him exiting the show as per insider Jeff Sneider of The Hot Mic podcast.
Well, who wouldn't be unhappy when you started the show and made everyone love it, only to have someone else take over by the third run of the series.
It may not be a surprise, at all, if Pedro Pascal would hang his helmet.
The Mandalorian Season 3 is currently on a rocky situation and as much as people loved the show from the start, it is quite having a lackluster performance that the show should pick up its pace quickly before people loses interest.
