The Dungeon of Black Company is a Japanese manga series that was serialized on Mag Garden's Mag Comi website in 2016. It can be collected in five tankobon volumes. Seven Seas Entertainment acquired a license over the manga to release it in North America. It was adapted into an anime and made its premiere on July 9, 2021, by Silver Link.
It centers on Kinji Ninomiya who is a NEET, meaning Not in Education, Employment, or Training. He was able to save a lot of money through real estate and was able to invest in a penthouse lifestyle without working at all. Suddenly, he was transported into a fantasy world where he became enslaved to a mining company.

As mentioned, the story follows the life of Kinji Ninomiya whose goal is to become a rich NEET. He decided to invest in a real estate empire and surprisingly became wealthy. But his luxurious life changed when he was transported to Amuria where demi-humans live. In this world, dungeons are explored and mined by corporations for Demonite, a kind of ore.
Kinji incurred a lot of debts and was forced to become a miner. In his new world, he becomes friends with Wanibe, a demi-human crocodile who volunteered to mine deeper into the dungeon. Doing this can give Wanibe more demonize but he will be exposed to more monsters. Kinji went with his friend after he discovered a secret entrance to the third level.
They were attacked by a dragon named Rim but Kinji made a deal with her to guard them and promised her to provide her with good food. The three of them earned more profit but of course, Kinji wanted more.
