A full month ahead of Spider-Man: No Way Home's release, there's clearly no doubt that Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios will now go the extra mile of hyping up the highly-anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe film despite the suspiciously slow build they had for it over the last couple of months.

In case you missed it, the second trailer for the Tom Holland flick was released last night during a global fan event and you best believe that webheads were patiently waiting for it to drop online. Of course, most fans were expecting to see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in the teaser but it looks like the studios are putting any plans of teasing their arrival on hold and that's actually understandable.

The trailer finally gave us a glimpse of Peter Parker's multiversal adversaries — from Doc Ock to Lizard but one character who showed up in the trailer has everyone intrigued. In a blink-and-you'll-miss-it sequence, a mysterious character who also seems to be riding a Green Goblin-esque glider shows up in the teaser and naturally, fans quickly jumped to the conclusion that it's Harry Osborn aka the New Goblin.

There have been persistent rumors that Green Goblin will be donning a completely different suit in No Way Home but given the fact that we've seen Norman Osborn in his RaimiVerse outfit, it would be safe to assume that the mysterious glider-riding character we saw was someone else. Now, given the multiversal aspect of the film, it wouldn't be too farfetched to believe that it's actually Harry Osborn from a different dimension. The real question is, is it James Franco or Dane DeHaan?

Spider-Man: No Way Home is slated for theatrical release on December 17.
