NCT Lucas sparked comeback rumors again after the idol posted an update on his social media account.
For nearly two years, the NCT member has been on a hiatus after his gaslighting and cheating controversy emerged. He released an apology statement saying he would take time to reflect on himself.
He has remained out of the spotlight since then, but there have been hints recently that seemingly suggest his potential return.

Is NCT Lucas Finally Coming Back?
On his Instagram Story, the dol shared a black and white video of him dancing again. Eagle-eyed fans noticed that he was at SM Entertainment's dance studio at that time.
He did not release any other update aside from the video. However, it is worth noting that he posted a video taken at the same studio on Feb. 1 and photos on Feb. 28.
The updates fueled the rumors, which started this year after SM Entertainment CEO Lee Sung Soo shared photos of him and Lucas on Instagram as they sat at a section of the SM building.

While some fans expressed their happiness due to these hints, others refused to accept Lucas again and told him he doesn't deserve to enter SM Entertainment.
The agency is yet to confirm Lucas' future schedule with NCT.
Previously, Lucas also sparked comeback buzz when SuperM's YouTube channel uploaded a trailer showing seven lasers rising from a mountain range. This represents the seven members, although, at that time, Baekhyun and Taemin were still serving in the military.
What Happened to Lucas?
Lucas took on an indefinite hiatus in 2021 after his alleged ex-girlfriend accused him of approaching, manipulating, and leeching money off of her. The accuser added that they started dating in July 2019 after Lucas allegedly told her that she was his girlfriend and not only a mere fan.
The complainant said NCT Lucas asked her to stay a little longer on his bed before heading home. She added that the idol demanded to have sexual intercourse with him even if she is not comfortable doing it.
The accuser revealed she and Lucas got back together in November 2019 before breaking up in March 2020.
After the news broke, Lucas penned an apology statement and took a break from performing.
