The first four seasons were simulcast and are currently available on Crunchyroll in their entirety. For season 5 of My Hero Academia, premium Crunchyroll users will be able to watch episodes immediately after release. A Crunchyroll subscription starts from $7.99 per month. A 14-day free trial will help you decide if it's for you.

Non-premium users will still get to watch My Hero Academia Season 5 on Crunchyroll, but they will have to wait longer for new episodes and there will be ads.

While other parts of the Hulu anime library, like the forthcoming Fruits Basket Season 3 won't be available to stream on the official release date, but rather after the show's completion, things look better for My Hero Academia Season 5. The fourth season which aired in 2019, premiered on Hulu the same day it did in Japan.

While we don't have an explicit confirmation that Season 5 will get the same treatment, it seems highly likely, giving us another option to watch the beloved anime Simulcast.

Unfortunately, the seasons of My Hero Academia that we have so far aren't on Netflix. Therefore, it seems highly unlikely for season 5 to make it to the popular streaming service either. Netflix in the US and Europe offers shows that have finished airing, rather than ongoing works anyway, so we couldn't expect the newest season in its library anytime soon.

More than that, My Hero Academia is one of the anime involved in a deal according to which Hulu and Funimation are the only platforms allowed to show certain anime both dubbed and with subtitles. Thankfully, there are many other options to watch the show.

Meanwhile, Beastars Season 2 is currently airing on Netflix Japan and will hit American Netflix this July.

My Hero Academia is licensed by both Funimation and Crunchyroll and it's always been available on both. Funimation is famous for its SimulDubs, so we can expect season 3 to be dubbed very soon.

For such a popular show, a true SimulDub can be assumed, meaning that dubbed episodes will most likely be released at the same time as Japanese episodes with subtitles on other platforms. Of course, all cultural activities are affected by the ongoing pandemic so we can't rule out possible delays.

Premium Funimation users will be able to stream episodes immediately when they are released. Non-premium users will be able to watch the newest My Hero Academia episodes a week after release but there will still be some ads.

Unsure about the paid plans of Funimation? You can try the 14-day free trial and see if it is right for you. Premium plans start from $5.99 per month.

Meanwhile, be sure to check out other highly anticipated Spring 2021 anime.
