Is Dazai Dead in Bungou Stray Dogs?
Bungou Stray Dogs Season 5 Episode 10 ends on a cliffhanger for many Armed Detective Agency characters, including Dazai, who gets shot in the head. Surprisingly, Dazai survives the supposed attack.
The penultimate episode's climax features Chuuya, who has turned into a vampire, like many other characters in Season 5, shooting Dazai in the head.
Dazai has always been cavalier about death, but at this point, fans didn't expect him to die, so this was a shocking twist.
But Episode 11, the season finale, features Dazai once more. He's alive and well, much to Fyodor's dismay.
How Did Dazai Survive Season 5?
Dazai manages to survive the explosive fifth season of Bungou Stray Dogs with unexpected help from Chuuya.
As Dazai reveals to the baffled Fyodor, Chuuya had never turned into a vampire at all.
With fake teeth and other similar illusions, Dazai's former ally persuades everyone that he has turned against him.
Dazai had been able to foresee Fyodor's actions and it seems he has finally managed to remove him from the picture for good.

Does Dazai Die in the Bungou Stray Dogs Manga?
Actually, we don't know if Dazai will die later in the Bungou Stray Dogs manga. Season 5's finale more than covered the existing manga chapters, as it has surpassed them.
As such, the manga has yet to confirm if Dazai is dead or alive. Chuuya shoots Dazai in Chapter 109 of the manga.
Chapter 110 covers the first part of Season 5's Episode 11, with Aya liberating Bram Stoker.
As for Dazai's fate, the manga hasn't gone that far. The latest chapters are very similar to the anime.
Because of this, we can assume that Dazai will similarly survive the manga, just like the anime.
However, there is a small chance that the manga could give a different conclusion and actually kill Dazai.
Alternatively, Dazai might survive, but not in the way he did in studio Bones' anime.
