Iron Fist Villain Hints at Season 2 Amid More Controversy

Marvel's run with its movie and TV projects have been pretty smooth-sailing for almost a decade now. That doesn't mean that it hasn't seen its fair share of flops and flunks. The latest of these is Iron Fist, the final inclusion to The Defenders, and one that is the black sheep of Marvel's TV experience has been so far.

With some still left hoping that the quality of the series to go up, new development is hinting that things are starting to go in this direction—even if this isn't due to anything that the story or its star has done.

With the reveal that Steel Serpent, a comic nemesis of Danny Rand, is making its way to the Netflix series, it was also confirmed that Davos will not only be part of the first season, but also a second one. Actor Sacha Dhawan (known for his role in Sherlock) hinted to Radio Times that the story is meant to happen later on so it could be a good plot point when the story runs longer.

"I'm not in the Defenders, no. The crux of Danny and Davos' story I think really begins towards the end of season 1, and I think they didn't want to start it straight away into the Defenders, and wanted to save it for series 2."

Of course, the question of whether this second season will actually happen is still pretty important. After all, even before the show was released, there has already been a mire of criticisms. And it didn't help that actor Finn Jones only stoked the negative feels of the audience.

Iron Fist's first season is already out on Netflix. Cross your fingers that the story gets better and incorporates certain criticisms to improve its own standing.
