Iron Fist Star Finn Jones Wants to Return to the MCU

With the return of Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio in the MCU reprising their respective roles from Netflix's Marvel shows, it seems inevitable at this point that we might see other actors from The Defenders shows make a comeback as well. Now, another notable star from the shows has chimed in and campaigned for their potential return to the MCU.

In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Finn Jones, who played Iron Fist in the Netflix Marvel shows, expressed his interest in reprising his role in the MCU and pitched an idea for a Heroes for Hire TV series that he can star in with Luke Cage's Mike Colter.

"I would love to continue playing that character. I think there's a lot of room for growth. Personally, where I would like to see the reintroduction of the character would be something like a Heroes for Hire TV series," Jones said.

"I think that would be the most dynamic and fun way to reintroduce those characters. I loved working with Mike and I loved the on-screen chemistry between Danny and Luke. I think it's a really interesting creative place that show can be taken in. I'd love to pick up that mantle again and keep moving this character forward and make the best possible Iron Fist there could be."

In case you're not familiar, Heroes for Hire is a superhero team version of private security and investigation firm in the Marvel Comics originally led by Iron Fist and Luke Cage.

So far, Marvel Studios has not announced any official plans on bringing back either Finn Jones or the character of Iron Fist in the MCU. Let's just wait and see if ever they'll decide to have the two aforementioned characters from the Netflix shows come back as their new iteration in the MCU similar to what they did with Daredevil and Kingpin.
