Mad Max's George Miller was once in line to direct a Justice League movie called Justice League Mortal with stars like Armie Hammer and Megan Gale as Batman and Wonder Woman. The movie never came to be, but we've been getting some small updates from the film here and there. Just in, we have a leaked image of the entire League's costumes for the movie.
The image comes courtesy of DC Films Hub:
Gale is the only actress in costume while everyone else in the photo is a stand-in. Besides her and Hammer, the movie had cast D.J. Cotrona as Superman, Adam Brody as The Flash, Santiago Caberera as Aquaman, Hugh Keays-Byrne as Martian Manhunter, and Common as Green Lantern.
Other people cast in the film would have included Anton Yelchin as Wally West, Teresa Palmer as Talia al Ghul, and Jay Baruchel as Maxwell Lord.
The movie was shelved back in 2008 due to a writers strike, and with the release of Chris Nolan's The Dark Knight, it seemed that Warner Bros only wanted one kind of Batman onscreen. The way Justice League came out as such a mess last year, everyone is getting more curious as to what George Miller's version would have brought to the table.
We don't know when the next Justice League movie will come out, but we do know that the only DCEU movie coming out this year is Aquaman; which hits theaters Dec. 21.
