Fans might be skeptical about the DCEU these days but there is some hope next year, with the dual releases of Shazam and Wonder Woman 2. Shazam, in particular, has been the topic of a number of reports, a number of which came true like Mark Strong as Doctor Savannah.
As we wait for the costume to be officially revealed, Entertainment Weekly may have just revealed the film's logo. The website will be hosting a Q and A about the DCEU film, with their Twitter image sharing what looks to be the official Shazam logo.
Hopefully, the Q and A leads to something big, like a trailer or the first official costume image. Fans are hoping that Shazam turns the tide a bit and helps the DCEU get back on track. They're also hoping Aquaman does that this year when it comes out in December.
Shazam, formerly known as Captain Marvel, was once the most popular superhero in the 50's, outselling issues of Batman and Superman. Though not as famous anymore, fans still hold the character in high regard, thanks to the fun gimmick of a kid turning into a superhero, something all comic book readers have dreamed of.
Shazam hits theaters on April 5, 2019.
