One of the coolest things about I Am Not Okay With This is seeing two of the stars of IT: Chapter One together again. So what was it like to be reunited with Sophia Lillis? Wyatt Oleff revealed that they didn't really interact on the Andy Muschietti film and discovered a new friendship while working together on the Netflix series.
Oleff recently spoke to Collider about his new show and he revealed that he and Lillis didn't have too many interactions on It although they were in several scenes together.
"When we filmed IT together we weren't really directly performing with each other. We were more in the same scene. But here we get these full-on scenes where it's just us interacting," Oleff said.
Interestingly, the young actors got along so well that they barely had to act when they were filming their scenes together.
"Through that summer that we had we have this great chemistry together that I hope people really see on screen. That's just us being us. We goof around a lot and I feel like that's how we'll always be," Oleff said. "I think that really just works well on screen. I play more of the comedic role this time, which is more fun for me to play. I get to just play off of her looking at me like I'm an idiot, which is just how it normally is. So it's perfect."
Anyone who has seen the series will agree. There is great chemistry between Oleff and Lillis that make their scenes together truly special. Hopefully, we'll get to see more of these two working together in the future.
