This year has already been fruitful for Hyun Bin as he and Son Ye Jin officially embarked on a new journey in their lives as a couple.
On March 31, Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin finally tied the knot after confirming their relationship in January. The duo reunited in the 2019 drama Crash Landing on You, and it led them to start their romance. Months later, the actress announced her pregnancy.
After the continuous good news, Hyun Bin received another as his comedic action film would arrive soon.
Hyun Bin To Star in Confidential Assignment 2: International
The Confidential Assignment 2: International’s local distributor, CJ ENM, announced on Monday that Hyun Bin would lead the upcoming film, which has been scheduled for release in September. The movie will exactly premiere on Chuseok, the Korean mid-autumn holiday.
According to The Korea Times, the Crash Landing On You actor will appear alongside his co-star in the first installment, Yoo Hae Jin. The new movie explores the trilateral cooperation between North and South Korea and the US in pursuit of catching international criminals.

Hyun Bin will play Lim Cheol Ryung’s role, a North Korean agent tasked to South Korea to take down Jin Sun Kyu’s Jang Myung Joon. The latter character is the leader of a huge North Korean criminal organization.
Although the two original cast members will appear, here again, Lee Seok Hoon replaced director Kim Sung Hoon and helmed the new movie. He is known for his hit projects, including The Pirates and The Himalayas.

Korea JoongAng Daily divulged that the hit tvN K-drama would be released as a musical from September 16 to November 13 at the Coex Shinhan Card Artium in Gangnam District, southern Seoul.
In March 2021, it secured the copyrights to Pop Music and T2N.
