There's a reason why Marvel fans have always been hoping to see Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Ryan Reynold's sassy Merc with a Mouth team up together. The comics have always had the two at each other's throats as much as it's had them fight side-by-side, and fans were hoping to see the dynamic play off on the big screen.
Last year hope for a Deadpool-Wolverine mashup ran high after rumors last year spread word that Reynolds was spotted on the set of Logan. Unfortunately, the appearance turned out to be nothing more than a simple Deadpool2 teaser for Jackman's final run as Wolverine.
Still, though it may take quite some time till everyone gets to see Wolverine teaming up with Deadpool, fans can still take comfort in the fact that Reynold's loves sassing Jackman in real life just as much as Deadpool.
As Jackman busies basking in the success of his final Wolverine solo while promoting the film in Beijing, Reynolds also clears a few minutes of his day to make fun of his adamantium-clawed friend on social media.

Though this isn't the first time Reynolds and Jackman have pranked each other on social media (back in December, the Logan star pretended to be Reynolds and then asked fans to pee on the Deadpool actor's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame), this friendly familiarity with each other in real life just proves how great it would be to have their Marvel counterparts sassing and pranking each other on the big screen.
