How The Avengers: Infinity War Cast Found Out About The Ending

As stated many times before, the ending to Avengers: Infinity War was a massive shock to fans everywhere. Fans had a feeling that Thanos would win but they didn't think a number of their favorite superheroes would turn into dust. People have been curious about how the cast found out and Scarlet Witch actress Elizabeth Olsen has revealed how.

In Ace Comic-Con, Olsen was asked this particular question and she gave the audience a fairly fascinating answer. Apparently, the cast found out while they were cramped in a van right before they were going to shoot their death scenes. That's an interesting visual to be sure considering how big some of the cast are.

"I found out from the Russos exactly what was going to happen and it wasn't until we shot it on that day we learned what the ending was. They took us into a van – all of us – we were in a van with air conditioning because it was very hot and they told us how the movie was going to end and no one knew. And they were like ‘Now we're shooting it, Go!' and we were like ‘How are we supposed to interpret that?'"

Reports about how secretive Marvel and The Russos are seem to be true if this is the case and who can blame them? This was the biggest film Marvel Studios had put together and we have to wonder how Avengers 4 will top this. Granted, that probably wasn't a fun experience but at least they had air-conditioning.

Fans are hoping that we will see most of the dead characters return at the end of Avengers 4. The film comes out on May 3, 2019.
