Originally a manga series, Peach Boy Riverside is illustrated and written by Coolkyousinnjya. It was serialised in Weekly Young VIP in 2008 and the same creator made a remake version in 2015 but this time, it was serialized in Kodansha's Shonen Magazine R.
The manga was then adapted into an anime and was released in July 2021. Take note that the remake version was the one adapted into an anime and not the original version. It is animated by Asahi Production and can be watched on AT-X, BS NTV, and Tokyo MX. International fans can stream the series on Crunchyroll.

The anime is about Sari or Saltorine Aldike. She is a princess who dreamed about going on an adventure after being bored of her little castle. Surprisingly, Oni, a hoard of demons, came to her doorstep and threatened to kill everyone in the kingdom. They were saved by Kibitsu Mikoto, a traveler, who killed the enemy with a "Peach Eye".
This incident convinced Sari of the dangers of the world and decided to go on a journey. What she did not know was that her journey could lead to different events that will change the destiny of their world.
