Kim Sae Ron might face heavy charges once the investigation into the DUI incident concludes.
On the morning of May 18, Kim Sae Ron got involved in a DUI incident wherein she damaged several lampposts and guard rails in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam District.
She also caused a power outage in the area after hitting an electric transformer.
When the authorities asked her to take a breathalyzer test due to reports that her vehicle was swerving precariously, she refused to do so and said she would have a blood test instead.
Weeks after it happened, reports revealed shocking details about the event.

Kim Sae Ron’s Blood Alcohol Test Revealed
Korea JoongAng Daily revealed that the actress’s license had been suspended after the release of blood test results on Wednesday.
The Seoul Gangnam Police Station disclosed that Kim Sae Ron’s blood alcohol level on the day of the incident exceeded 0.08 percent. With that, she became subject to permanent suspension of her driver’s license.
Per the Korea Road Traffic Authority, a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent or more can lead to the revocation of a person’s driver’s license.

“Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) is a measure of alcohol in the blood as a percentage. It is calculated in grams per 100 mL of blood, so a BAC of 0.08 means your blood is 0.08% alcohol by volume,” the University of Toledo website explained.
The law enforcement sources added that the case would be brought to the prosecutor’s office to formally start a probe and investigate Kim Sae Ron and the passenger she was with.
Following the revelation, her agency told JTBC that she is currently resolving the subject and thinking about how she would compensate for the damages she caused.
In addition, it addressed the reports about her blood test.
Kim Sae Ron’s Agency Comments on Revocation of License
Gold Medalist Entertainment issued a press release concerning the blood test.
Although the outlets said that the Seoul Gangnam Police Station revealed the result, the company reportedly has no idea about it, yet.
"We have not received any information from the police about the results of Kim Sae Ron's blood test. Once the investigation schedule is set according to the results of the examination, the actress will participate in the investigations faithfully. Once again, we apologize,” it said.
Kim Sae Ron already released an apology statement after the issue occurred.
