How Does Invincible Get His New Blue Suit in the Comics?

Fans of the Invincible comic books are well aware that Mark Grayson won't be sporting the yellow and blue suit his entire life. At one point, he gets a new alternative look with the blue and black color scheme.

That said, how did he get to change his super suit in the first place?

While Invincible is always remembered for his flashing yellow and blue, this darker costume makes him more mature and eager for danger than his previous trademark suit.

Now, it's usually important why a hero would need to change his suit. However, for Mark, this isn't the case.

In the comics, Art, the superhero costume maker Omni-Man trusts, gave Invincible the blue suit just because "he got bored" with his yellow and blue. As Art said, "The old one would have clashed - too many colors."

Will Invincible Get the Blue Super Suit in Season 2 Part 2?

As the release date for Invincible season 2 part 2 is fast approaching, fans are wondering if we'll be seeing Mark Grayson sport the blue suit in the coming episodes.

Keep in mind that the continuation part only contains four additional episodes in continuation to its first half, so while it is possible to see Mark change his colors, the costume change actually has a lot of story riding on it.

See, as fans realized on Reddit, the minute he puts on the dark blue suit, strange and horrifying things start happening to him.

This would make or break his character in the future, especially with Omni-Man gone away from Earth.

Most fans are hoping that the blue suit gets introduced in Invincible season 3, instead, which would build up the suspense around the mystery behind the costume change.

Meanwhile, Invincible season 2 part 2 starts streaming on Prime Video on March 14.
