The premiere of Star Wars: Episode IX is still a long time from now. However, there is a possibility that we will get an official announcement about the sequel's title in the next month.

It's no secret that the titles and official teasers for the Star Wars films are usually announced almost a full year before their premiere. Interestingly, a new Reddit post suggests that Lucasfilm and Disney could reveal the Episode IX title in November.

The post points out that Star Wars: The Force Awakens was announced in early November 2014, which was 13 months before the film premiered. Star Wars: The Last Jedi took a little longer, having been confirmed in January 2017 or 11 months prior to its official release. Nevertheless, the theory suggests that we will learn the official Episode IX title by November 1.

What's so special about this particular date? According to the post, it is the sixth anniversary of Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm. It certainly seems like an interesting way to celebrate.

But when can we expect to see the first Episode IX trailer? There is a possibility we'll get a teaser for the J.J. Abrams flick by late November. The full trailer could then be unveiled at the Star Wars Celebration in April 2019.

It's certainly a hopeful prediction and we are truly looking forward to learning the Episode IX title. However, it is important to point out that the information is based on theory and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Star Wars: Episode IX is scheduled for release on December 20, 2019.
